We met through friends at a restaurant in Modesto, CA. It's amazing to realize that we had our first encounters in what is now regarded as an "old-fashioned" setting—before social media. Then, on a sunny, breezy San Francisco day in July, Shawn asked Bindya to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history.

"Shawn and Bindya have shared the best and most vulnerable parts of each other over the past fifteen years, yeah I said 15!!!!!! They have supported each other in every new adventure and been the other’s rock!

They are true testament to what commitment really means. They’ve cheered each other on, through the good, the bad and the crazy. They embody what showing up for each other everyday looks like. And now today we are here to celebrate in their union."
